About us

Step and Learn is a Kent based charity dedicated to providing free Conductive Education to children with neurological conditions such as Cerebral Palsy. Conductive Education is an educational system developed to teach individuals the skills needed to meet the challenges of everyday life.

We work with children in small group sessions, with a focus on what they can do, rather than what they can't. Through play and song, we motivate our children to learn the skills necessary to build a more independent life, with tasks broken down into achievable steps. Conductive Education is about active learning and we encourage parents to incorporate our exercises into the everyday routine of their child. 

Since opening our doors in 2012, we have relied solely on donations and grant funding in order to offer our sessions for free. We wholly beleive that everyone should be given the opportunity to learn, regarldess of their starting point and your donation today will enable us to continue offering our servives free of charge.
