My Story

After Grace suffered an extensive stroke just days old she has had a fight on her hands! Life has been tough for this warrior girl but she continues to astound me with her strength, determination and zest for life. She is the happiest, sweetest but wildest girl I know! Life happens on Grace's terms and I couldn't be prouder as her mother. Grace has been attending Step and Learn since she was just a few months old, over 5 years! The work they do for children like Grace withmotor disabilities is just incredible. I was told just weeks old it was very unlikely Grace would ever walk... and with their help she does! They provide free sessions for all their children however rely solely on charitable donations. Grace is fortunate to have been sponsored by the wonderful Honor Oak lodge for the last two years. We would like to give something back with your help! 💚

So in March - which is developmental disabilities awareness month - Grace is going to attempt to walk around the perimeter of St Mary's Island. It's approximately 5k so we plan to do just over 1k per week in March (one day per week) This is a very long way for Grace so this is by no means an easy challenge! 

It is Mummy's big 40th Birthday soon and I am very blessed to not have anything I want or need. I would however love for donations to be made to step and learn in place of cards/gifts. Anyone that knows me knows my heart is with charity and I can't think of a better one I'd rather support than Step and Learn after they've done so much for my special girl 💚
